Applications are accepted twice yearly, with deadlines on August 1 and January 5. A non-refundable fee of $35 is required. Applicants are evaluated based on the quality of their work, with no specific publication or exhibition prerequisites.

Yaddo provides residencies at no cost to the artists, covering room, board, and studio space. Additionally, modest access grants are available to help offset other expenses, ensuring accessibility regardless of financial background.
