Program Details & Financial Support

• Duration: 
  Residencies typically range from 1 to 5 weeks, with some longer sessions available.
   

• Application: 
  Applications are submitted online through Banff Centre’s website. Deadlines vary by program throughout the year. Artists must provide a project proposal, portfolio samples, and CV. A non-refundable application fee of $65 CAD applies.
   

• Cost & Financial Aid:
  Program fees apply but substantial financial support is available, including scholarships and bursaries covering partial or full residency costs. Travel grants may also be provided. Special funding initiatives for Indigenous artists frequently cover 100% of tuition, accommodation, and meals.
